21. FAVOUR OJO

Favour Ojo is a talented songwriter and prolific singer, Favor Ojo was announced as the winner of the fourth edition of the annual prestigious Tim Godfrey’s Sound Check Africa show which rounded up on Sunday 2nd of May, 2021.

As the winner of sound check Africa season four, this brought her into limelight, and since then, she has been making progress.

She is known for her short videos on Instagram expressing her beautiful soothing voice.

 

20. JIO MOR

Joy Anwuli Nmor popularly known as JOI MOR hails from Ndokwa west LGA in delta state Nigeria. She was born into the family of Architect and late Mrs Mabel Nmor as the 2nd child. She’s very jovial and a complete extrovert as this reflects in her music. She’s a graduate of Economics from the prestigious Benson Idahosa University, Benin city.

JOI MOR started music officially in 2011 with the release of her debut album “You’ve Got Me Tripping” which had songs like ‘I dey trip’, you’ve got me tripping’ I love you Lord ” amongst others produced by one of Nigeria’s finest producers (Gospelondebeatz) with videos aired all over the nation and beyond. The album got rave reviews and enjoyed massive airplay all over the country.

JOI MOR took a short break from music to further her education in 2012/2013 where she acquired her Masters Degree in Economics and international finance.

In October 2014, JOI MOR came back with another hit single, Chim’oma produced by one of project fame 6.0 finalists (Johnny Drille who is signed to Don Jazzy’s MAVINS). The song which was inspired by religious happenings around her emphasizes the Father and child relationship that God has with us and how it never fades.

The song won a lot of awards and made it to various radio stations. He started singing at a tender age of 9 in his church choir, started leading people in praise and worship after which a producer discovered him, took him to his studio to record his first song. He proceeded to higher institution, Covenant University, Ota and during his first year, he was awarded as ‘The New Kid On The Block’ due to his popularity in singing for God, similarly, he won a music scholarship when he was graduating school. As we all know, Ministry is different from just singing, it requires more dedication, commitment. All this while, Tobi Osho was singing because he has that talent, he sang and the spirit moved but at that time, he wasn’t in the Gospel Music Ministry, he was a normal Gospel artiste not until he went for NYSC to serve his father’s land In 2015 where God spoke to him that he needed him to be a full time Gospel Minister with preference to pure worship which he obeyed immediately and kicked off in 2016. Ever since then, he has been known on Facebook for Live Videos of him worshipping and viewers with instant testimonies, through his live videos, a lot of people with disease, pain have been healed, he is also known for short Videos of him doing some worship songs on his Instagram Page.

Two years down the lane, Minister Tobi Osho has become a force in the Gospel Music Ministry not just in Nigeria but Africa as a continent.

 

1. REJOICE EWEAMA

Rejoice Eweama is a Nigerian Gospel music minister, song writer and vocal coach. She released her debut single “ONLY JESUS” on the 19th of June 2021. This song was produced by Dr. Tim Godfrey, popularly known as Tim Godfrey and also by Samuel Giveson (SMJ).

Rejoice studied music at Musical Society Of Nigeria (MUSON). She currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria. She hails from the Eastern part of the country.

Rejoice Eweama has been privileged to work with, and grace stages while serving under the leadership of gospel legend Dr. Tim Godfrey, with both local and international renowned artistes like Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Micah Stampley, JJ Hairston, Sinach, Phil Thompson, amongst others.

Rejoice Eweama uses her gift to influence lives positively, educate people especially youths on the intentionality of God’s love and to her, that would always be the goal.
